steve-mcaA licensed Florida real estate broker based in St Petersburg, Florida, Steve has been selling and marketing real estate for over 30 years, from spearheading condo development on Miami’s South Beach and Clearwater’s Sand Key, to owning his own firm, to serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for JMC Communities and President of JMC Realty, Inc. and JMC Resort Property Services in St Petersburg. He is now proud to be ForeSite Residential Real Estate’s broker.

For 20 years, Steve McAuliffe watched over every aspect of JMC Communities’ sales and marketing, from meticulous adherence to the corporate brand and individual community identities to directing sales, advertising, web site design, social media, public relations, special events, interior merchandising and research analysis. He uses every tool at his disposal, with the understanding that sales continue long after contracts are signed—evidenced by a 20-percent repeat-buyer average.

Most recently, Steve brokered the sales and marketing of the remaining foreclosed 137 inventory homes at downtown Tampa’s Towers of Channelside. All homes were sold (under budget) in just over a year’s time to the tune of $45 million, making the Receiver, Bank Syndication and Hedge Fund very happy.

Steve’s leadership extends to expanding roles in a variety of national and regional industry groups, including serving on the board of directors of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and the Tampa Bay Builders Association (where he was also past-president). A past trustee of the NAHB’s Sales and Marketing Council as well as its Institute of Residential Marketing, and is past chair of the FHBA Sales and Marketing Council.

In 2003, Steve McAuliffe was awarded the FHBA’s prestigious John P. Hall Award for Sales and Marketing Excellence, and in 1998, the Marketing Director of the Year by the NAHB. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Principia College in Elsah, Ill., in addition to having earned the respected NAHB designations of Master In Residential Marketing (MIRM) and Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP).
